When I was younger, my mom would always make banana bread for me and my sisters. It was absolutely delicious, but no way was it healthy. In search or the ultimate clean banana bread, I've created this recipe that is sure to impress. It has the moist texture you love while being sweetened with pure ingredients. No sugar, no butter, no oil! My husband is a huge fan so I had to share with you as well. Obviously nuts are optional, but they give that crunch your tastebuds love. I hope you enjoy!

This ingredients list is short and sweet! If you want to add some extra protein to your diet, you can substitute 1/2 c of the oats for 1/2 c vanilla protein powder. It is perfect for breakfast, snack or a post workout treat. I like to eat it chilled!

Healthy Toasted Almond Banana Bread. These are the perfect breakfast or snack and are healthy with no sugar, flour, butter, or oil. Moist and DELICIOUS with a delightful crunch.

Toasted Almond Banana Bread

INGREDIENTS:

3 ripe bananas
2 c oats (can sub 1/2 c for 1/2 c protein powder for extra protein boost)
1/4 c pure maple syrup
2 eggs
1/4 c toasted almonds
1tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with coconut oil and bake almonds for 10 minutes until they brown. Spray a bread pan with coconut oil. Place all ingredients except for the almonds in your blender. Blend on medium until well mixed. Pour batter in a bowl and mix in the toasted nuts. Pour into bread pan and cook for 25 minutes or until bread pops back up when you touch it. Let cool for 10 minutes, cut and serve! The banana bread can be kept up to 1 week in fridge. Eat cold or heat in a toaster oven.
